Common Workflows

Use this page for the shortest operational summary of the main Scriptoria flows. The point is to remember the sequence, not to replace the full guides.

Resolve And Register

1. Open Discovery.
2. Paste a manifest URL, provider URL, shelfmark, or supported identifier.
3. Use Add item to create the local manuscript record.

Build The Local Workspace

1. Go to Library.
2. Keep the item as metadata-only or start the full download.
3. Reopen the item from Library when you are ready to work.

Read And Repair

1. Open the item in Studio.
2. Let Scriptoria choose local or remote reading mode based on current asset state.
3. Use Output when pages need inspection, repair, or export preparation.

Export

1. Open Output.
2. Inspect pages if needed.
3. Choose a PDF profile.
4. Start the export job and monitor it from the Jobs view.
