   Thanks for the detailed report and the screenshot — that was super helpful!

   This was a bug in the CLI: the client was generating its own auth code and opening the browser with it, but the server always generates its own code and ignores any code sent in the request body. The CLI wasn't reading the code back from the server response, so the browser URL contained a code that was never stored in the database.

   Fixed in v0.40.0 — run brew upgrade openboot to update.
