Hi, I'm Felipe León 👋

I build web platforms end to end — React/Next.js frontends backed by Node.js, .NET, and Python services — with a soft spot for data-heavy products: dashboards, search, content pipelines, and the databases underneath them. Most recently I worked on the client-portal ecosystem at IANS Research (cybersecurity research & advisory), and before that on open-data visualization platforms at Datasketch.

🌉 From bridges to browsers

I started out as a civil engineer (Universidad de los Andes), planning medical-center construction and heavy-cargo logistics projects. In 2021 I bet on software, retrained at Holberton School, and never looked back. It turns out the two jobs are the same at the core: understand the load, design the structure, build something that holds up long after you've moved on. Civil engineering taught me to plan before pouring concrete — I write software the same way.
