Fifteenth artifact of the mutation-testing campaign (remaining files): auth emptiness needs both slots empty, emptied variables count as unset, the first refusal logs its count, the stdio debug note fires only when settings exist to name, auth modes render their names, and the session manager rejects unknown sessions, delegates its event store, reports session existence, and removes what it closed. No production behavior changed — tests and prose only. Verified: fmt, clippy -D warnings, full suite (1045 passed), per-mutant kill matrix, native OCR clean.

Nine unit rows cover twelve cargo-mutants survivors in http_auth.rs and http_session.rs: HttpEnv::is_empty over all four slot combos, the empty-string-reads-as-absence guard via an otherwise-unread probe var, the four AuthMode display strings verbatim, the first refusal logging refused=1, the stdio ignore-note truth table (gate stays None throughout), and wrapper delegation for has_session, close_session, accept_message and event_store (wired store stays visible, none by default). DESIGN.md Testing gains one clause per area. Each survivor was applied from its artifact diff, watched fail its named row, reverted, and re-run green; fmt, clippy and the full suite pass.
