Missing Failed States

Hi,

I placed game.iso in the required location and launched condemned2recomp.exe.

After launch, the file TU_19KA1VF_0000004000000.00000000000G1 appeared, but nothing else seems to happen. The window remains stuck on a red screen. I left it running for 30 minutes with no change.

Is this a known issue? Are there any logs or additional checks I can provide to help diagnose it?

Edit : Is working now... don't change the name of .iso

I see where the confusion is! In the first-time installer, you can change the paths for the installation location and ISO location by clicking on them.

EDIT: Scratch that. xiso isn't the problem itself. My usual app choices don't respond well to how Bloodshot is made up, so it wasn't getting the full image if I tried to go that route compared to making a general xbox iso. Had to get familiar with xdvdfs to create a complete xiso. But the VPN thing is still true. At least in the case of trying to use Wiresock with a Cloudflare tunnel. Have to exclude the app for it to work.

It seems that while refactoring the states, I didn't initialize the "fail" states that present an error during the process. I've fixed this for the next version.

Could be the file type. Your launcher doesn't like xiso as that makes the process crash at the start but leaves the launcher up.

Even though the ISO extractor should support XISO, I went ahead and rebuilt a dumped ISO to XISO to try extracting it. I can confirm that XISO is supported.

The title update process also crashes leaving the launcher up if you're connected to a VPN, found that out by accident.

In retrospect, it makes a whole hell of a lot of sense that your launcher was going "What do you expect me to do? This xiso doesn't even have a quarter of the game files in it!"

Right, and you wouldn't have known due to the launcher error states being uninitialized. This was a minor mistake on my part, so the next version won't leave anyone in the dark if any issues arise.
