Looking for places to replace unmaintained httpx with maintained httpx2:
We don't really need either here, nor async, and can use the existing urllib3 and add ThreadPoolExecutor instead.
Before, it takes 4 seconds to run
check_versions.py.After, it takes 2 seconds, and we've dropped a dependency.
Also update the README tables by running
check_versions.pyviatox -e cog.
