Release-only documentation updates for
release/1.6. Supersedes #24198 and is compatible with #24211. Relates to #23608.Carries the release documentation changes from #24198: source clones use
release/1.6, mobile examples use 1.6.0, and prebuilt C++ installation uses ExecuTorch 1.6.0 and PyTorch 2.15.0 from the production CPU index. The getting-started guide now explains removing the exact release pins beside the installation command. Its nightly paragraph uses the same text as #24211, so the two PRs can land in either order while retaining #24211's Windows CUDA instructions. All other files retain the changes from #24198.
Validation: three-way merges of getting-started.md are clean in both orders and produce identical content, retaining the release pins, nightly instructions, and Windows CUDA guidance. Full Git merge-tree checks are clean in both orders and produce the same tree.
git diff --checkpasses. This is a documentation-only change.Created as a new PR under the instruction to always create a new diff; #24198 has not been amended or updated.
