The previous README was accurate but text-heavy for first-time readers. This rewrite puts the original failure mode first (Codex agents overwriting/deleting each other's edits), then moves into copy-paste workflows and visual protocol references with less narrative overhead. Constraint: Keep command examples aligned with current CLI behavior Rejected: Full docs split into multiple files | adds navigation friction for first-time setup Confidence: high Scope-risk: narrow Reversibility: clean Directive: Keep README focused on problem->copy-paste workflow->visual verification; avoid long prose expansions Tested: npm test (59/59); node --check bin/multiagent-safety.js Not-tested: Render validation across external Markdown viewers
