Title: Scanopy v0.15.5 — Expanded Device Fingerprinting & Japanese UI

Scanopy v0.15.5 is out! This release continues our push to broaden device fingerprinting and improve internationalization. Here’s what’s new and improved:

🚀 New Features

  • Jenkins Detection on HTTPS: Scanopy now recognizes Jenkins instances even when secured with HTTPS, by detecting the X-Jenkins header. This makes it easier to spot automation servers in your topology. #579
  • Japanese UI Translation: The user interface is now available in Japanese! A big step for our global users. You can switch languages in Settings.

🔧 Improvements

  • OIDC Provider Logos: Added authentication provider logos to the Content Security Policy for a more reliable and visually consistent sign-in experience with OIDC. #578
  • Grafana Metrics Cardinality: Reduced cardinality reporting for Grafana. Expect better performance and easier-to-read dashboard metrics. #567, #572, #577

For full details, check out the changelog.
As always, report issues or suggestions on GitHub, and let us know how the new translation feels!

Subject: Easier automation detection & global UI improvements

We're excited to share new enhancements focused on streamlining device detection and improving usability for diverse teams. This update delivers smarter scanning and expanded language options for your network management workflows.

  • Identify Jenkins servers faster: Scanopy now spots Jenkins automation nodes on HTTPS, reducing manual checks and making it easy to track automation tools in scan results.
  • Japanese UI support: The dashboard is now fully available in Japanese, helping native speakers navigate and manage networks with more confidence.
  • Consistency in third-party sign-in: OIDC provider logos are now included in the authentication flow, reducing sign-in confusion for multi-auth environments.
  • Clearer Grafana metrics: Improved metric reporting keeps your dashboards performant and easier to interpret, eliminating unnecessary data complexity.

Enjoy a more streamlined discovery process and accessible experience no matter your workflow or language.
