Scott Falconer

I'm Senior Director, Applied AI & Agent Success Engineering at Acquia. I build and lead work on agent tools, permissions, evaluations, and developer workflows. I also lead the Drupal AI Initiative's Outside AI workstream.

Selected work

  • self-learning-skills — Local memory for coding agents: recall candidate lessons, record new ones, and prepare skill updates for review.
  • drupal-agent-readiness — An exploratory test bench for agent behavior on Drupal sites, with retained evidence, automated scoring, and explicit limits on what the results establish.
  • agent-ready-drupal-build-kit — Tools for AI coding agents to build reviewable Drupal sites, with separate verification and human handoff.

Open source and teaching

I contribute to Drupal's AI, Tool API, and Canvas projects. My Drupal.org profile and GitLab contributions cover work outside GitHub.

I build reusable developer workflows, including drupal-contribute-fix, and teach practical AI-assisted engineering. Recent teaching includes Reviewer-Friendly AI: A Practical Drupal Contribution Workshop at DrupalCon Rotterdam.
