The Senseable Intelligence Group builds open-source tools and research infrastructure for neuroscience, speech and communication, and digital health. Our current work emphasizes reproducible methods, data standards, and software for analyzing speech, video, text, and other quantitative measures of behavior, physiology, and communication.
We build tools for integrating data, methods, evidence, and provenance into usable knowledge systems for neuroscience. This work is closely connected to BICAN efforts around cell types, anatomy, spatial maps, and knowledge integration, and is anchored in BrainKB.
We develop software for working with speech, voice, text, video, and related research data. Much of this work is now centered in senselab, which consolidates reproducible pipelines and utilities used across projects in vocal markers of health, child language, and home-video behavior analysis.
We create tools that help researchers organize, convert, validate, and share data across studies and platforms. This includes Bridge2AI voice infrastructure and reusable tooling for preparing acoustic, questionnaire, and metadata-rich datasets, represented here by b2aiprep.
Our organization also includes methods and infrastructure for reproducible neuroscience and open computational research, from neuroimaging methods to workflow-oriented tooling.
- BrainKB: a platform for curated neuroscientific knowledge, knowledge integration, and scientific discovery
- senselab: reproducible analysis pipelines for speech, text, video, and related research data
- b2aiprep: tooling for preparing acoustic and study data for the Bridge2AI voice project
- mapalign: diffusion map embedding and alignment methods used in neuroimaging research
Members of the Senseable Intelligence Group also contribute to and collaborate with several independent open-source communities and research consortia. These are community-led efforts we participate in, rather than repositories owned by this GitHub organization.
- BBQS: tools and coordination for brain behavior quantification and synchronization
- ReproNim: reproducible neuroimaging workflows and provenance-aware research infrastructure
- DANDI: open neurophysiology data sharing and tooling
- NiPy / Nipype: neuroimaging analysis workflows and software interoperability
