…1437) The repo ran both: .github/renovate.json extends ow3org/renovate-config and the app is live (three renovate/* branches, open PRs #1352, #1362, #1363 — the oldest from March), while buddy.yml dogfoods buddy on the same dependencies. Two bots proposing updates to one tree race each other, and CLAUDE.md already states the intent: buddy handles dependency updates, not renovatebot. Disabled via { "enabled": false } rather than deleting the file, so the installed app neither runs nor reopens an onboarding PR. The open Renovate PRs and branches can be closed once this lands; uninstalling the app itself is an org-level action only Chris can take. Co-authored-by: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
