Physical keys bound to
+scoressent the inherited Quake III key-activity bit (0x0800), which retail Quake Live interprets as a request to stop following. Emit retail's0x1000on protocol 91 connections and preserve0x0800for the retained Quake III/ioquake3 profiles. Scoreboard movement, key catchers, aliases, and explicit button inputs keep their existing behavior.Verified the distinction directly in the installed Steam client and
qagamex86.dll. Added ABI and successive usercmd codec regressions, recorded the binary evidence, and updated the release notes.Validation:
CL_CmdButtonsfunction cover scoreboard/held-key behavior, explicit buttons, input capture, and legacy profiles.Interactive Proton/Wayland reproduction has not been run; a reporter retest remains useful.
