Summary

  • Observe the original URLSession instead of reissuing requests, preserving authentication and cookie policies.
  • Split plugins into individually selectable SPM products. Automatic capture uses private Foundation hooks and runs in Debug and Release when registered; apps can omit that product.

Changelog

Apps now explicitly select and import the plugins they use. Existing URLSession request code stays unchanged.

Test Plan

  • swift test and swift test -c release --filter NectoURLSessionCaptureTests: passed.
  • swift test --package-path Tests/Fixtures/SDKConsumer and node --test script/tests/package.test.mjs: passed.
  • ExampleApp builds and launches on device and simulator; iPhone 15 Release capture suite: 21 passed.
  • iOS 16.4 compatibility probe: 11 scenarios passed with capture off/on, covering authentication, cookie isolation, and uploads.
  • Coexistence with other SDKs that hook URLSession remains unverified.
