It would be nice to have access to whatever new optimizations and fixes Binaryen has implemented since version 99.

I would like the bundled version of Binaryen to be updated to version 118.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Unless I end up encountering a specific problem for which a fix exists in a newer release, I can live with this one.
Additional context
I might be able to make a pull request. However, since massive diffs to bundled upstream code from random GitHub users are scary (cf. Jia Tan), that would probably need to be preceded by a GitHub action which verifies that the bundled code matches the checksummed upstream tarball.
