These files are in the wrong place. Please instead edit the files in https://github.com/unicode-org/unicodetools/tree/main/unicodetools/data/emoji/dev

In PR #248 I moved the data files to the right places and also did the year+version updates of the readmes. I didn't diff them with the ones in this PR. Please create a follow-up PR if the readmes need further changes. Closing this PR here. |
