Separate image construction from amd64 exports and add snapshot QEMU testing. Harden NBD cleanup, refresh desktop packages and Firefox sources, and configure VM audio. Work around GTK symbolic icon rendering and require a password change on first login.
Add basic course tools, calculate aligned partition sizes, and remove shared guest and VMware identities before distribution. Record build provenance and package versions, generate artifact checksums after detaching the disk, and add geometry, checksum and sealing tests.
