… no more hang on the trust dialog (v0.462.1) A leftover credential dir (macOS: login in the Keychain, so no .credentials.json) passed the orphan guard and was reused already-onboarded; bare `claude` then skipped to the folder-trust dialog and never printed an authorize URL. Run the dedicated login command in a retry loop, archive any non-empty leftover dir, wait for the retry prompt before re-arming, and never re-offer a rejected URL. Settings → Runtime accounts → add account hung forever on "the authorization link appears here in a moment…" (instapods).
Cause: the target dir was left over from a removed account. On macOS the login is in the Keychain, so there's no
.credentials.jsonand the orphan guard let the dir be reused. It was already onboarded, so bareclaudeskipped theme/login-method and parked on the folder-trust dialog — no URL ever printed.Fix
