#17 made the first cwd in a transcript the session's directory, but applyMeta runs before sidechain records are skipped. A subagent record ahead of the first main record with a cwd therefore set the directory, and no later record could replace it. Sidechain records no longer set the directory. A Claude Code session is listed under the first directory its transcript records. Sidechain (subagent) records were counted too, so a subagent record that came before the first main record with a directory could file the session under the subagent's directory. Sidechain records no longer set the directory.
The
wanderertest fixture now has a sidechain record with a different directory ahead of the first main one. The test fails without the fix and passes with it.
