Slideshow
Slideshow mode presents the images in the current folder as an automatic sequence. It can run in the normal window or enter immersive fullscreen when it starts.
You need an image loaded before starting a slideshow. Use any of these methods:
- Choose View > Slideshow > Start from the menu.
- Click the slideshow button in the action bar.
- Press
S.
Starting the slideshow fits the current image to the available view and begins playback immediately. The default interval is 3 seconds per image.
When the slideshow is active, the presentation bar provides:
| Control | Action |
|---|---|
| Previous | Show the previous image in the folder list. |
| Play / Pause | Pause or resume automatic playback. |
| Next | Show the next image in the folder list. |
| Loop | Enable or disable wrapping from the last image to the first. |
| Interval | Select 2, 3, 5, or 10 seconds per image. |
| Counter | Show the current position in the loaded image list. |
| Stop | End the slideshow. |
Manual navigation skips images hidden from the sidebar. Changing the interval while presenting restarts the timer with the new value.
The presentation bar and other floating controls fade out after inactivity. Move the pointer over the viewer to reveal them again. Hovering the presentation bar keeps it visible while you use its controls.
During an active slideshow, right-clicking the viewer opens a presentation menu with playback, navigation, loop, interval, and exit actions.
The available intervals are:
| Option | Duration |
|---|---|
| 2s | Two seconds per image. |
| 3s | Three seconds per image. |
| 5s | Five seconds per image. |
| 10s | Ten seconds per image. |
You can change the interval from the presentation bar, the View > Slideshow menu, or Settings > Slideshow. The selected value is saved for future sessions.
Loop mode is enabled by default. When enabled, playback returns to the first image after the last one. When disabled, the slideshow pauses at the end and shows an end-of-slideshow notification.
The Fullscreen on start option controls whether a new slideshow enters immersive fullscreen automatically. It is enabled by default and can be changed in Settings > Slideshow.
If fullscreen is disabled, the slideshow remains in the normal application window. The presentation controls still appear and use the same playback behavior.
While presenting in fullscreen, the viewer keeps the image fitted to the available display area. The slideshow can be stopped with the presentation bar or Escape.
