## What time format each language uses

Your **Language** setting also controls whether times display on a 12-hour or a 24-hour clock. Expensify uses the standard clock for the language you select, so you cannot set the time format separately.

No. The clock Expensify uses follows your **Language** setting, so switching to a 12-hour or 24-hour clock means selecting a language that uses it.

## Why do times show on a 24-hour clock after I change my language?
Most languages Expensify supports use a 24-hour clock, so times such as 2:05 PM display as 14:05. Select **English** to see times on a 12-hour clock.

## Can I disable all Expensify app notifications?
Yes. From the navigation tabs, go to **Account > Preferences** and toggle off both update and sound notifications.
