## How to use the bulk action bar on the Expenses and Reports pages

On web, selecting one or more rows on the **Expenses** or **Reports** page opens a bulk action bar that floats over the bottom of the list. The bar shows how many rows you selected, the actions available for that selection, and a close button.

- The bar shows up to three actions as buttons, and fewer in a smaller window. Any remaining actions move behind **More**, so open **More** if you don't see the action you want.
- An action with further choices behind it, such as **Export**, opens its own menu above the bar.
- While Expensify is still counting a **Select all** selection, the bar shows a spinner in place of the count until the total arrives.
- When a selection has no actions available, the bar explains why instead of showing buttons.
- To clear the selection, click the close button at the right end of the bar or press **Esc**.

The bulk action bar is only on web. On mobile, and in a browser window narrow enough to use the mobile layout, selecting rows shows the **Selected** dropdown instead. Selecting expenses inside a report also uses the **Selected** dropdown rather than the bar.
