Summary

Let the load balancer control plane specify which selected IPv6 backend addresses should receive traffic. Omitting backendAddresses retains current selector behavior; an explicit empty list removes all backends so gateways can withdraw the VIP.

The address filter still requires a matching VPCAttachment in the rule's VPC. This provides backend membership control for one-VIP DSR rules; it does not enable two VIPs on the same backend port.

Verification

  • go test ./api/v1alpha1 -count=1
  • task ci passed build, vet, lint; unit execution stops at the repository's Linux-only GOOS=linux test command on macOS (exec format error).
