Bug

The macOS AppModel.quickAdd awaited both parse_quick_add and add_task and then unconditionally reset quickAddText = "". If the user typed their next task while a slow save was running, completion of the earlier save silently deleted the newer unsent text. Rapid double-Enter/click also allowed duplicate adds before the first RPC finished.

Fix

  • Capture the submitted text/list as before, and clear the quick-add input only when it still matches the submitted draft. Never overwrite or erase text typed during the in-flight operation.
  • Guard concurrent submits with a quickAddInFlight flag, reset by defer on success or error.
  • Keep current add-success reload/status reporting, parse grammar and explicit target-list behavior unchanged.

Verify

No merge/release until testing and integrated task-creation checks pass.
