Part of #465. Live docs no longer describe .ps1 entry points, pwsh as a prerequisite, or PowerShell as a supported analysis language.

  • Deleted docs/ps1-exit/, the docs/compatibility-retire* docs and docs/model-executable-handle.md (their machinery was deleted in chore(ps): 删除全部 PowerShell 和 Rust 里对它的引用(DR-0018,#401 PR 3/3) #460); links and INVENTORY rows fixed.
  • Reworded contract and adapter docs to the Rust code-intel CLI; ADRs and dated plans that still prescribe .ps1 get a DR-0018 superseded note.
  • Not touched: docs/archive, docs/decisions, docs/research, CHANGELOG and dated summaries (history); the AGENTS.md guards against re-adding PowerShell.

📝 Summary

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Updated setup, command, and verification guidance to use the Rust CLI and shell commands; PowerShell is no longer documented as a prerequisite or entry point.
    • Clarified that legacy report and staging directories cannot establish repository authority.
    • Removed compatibility-retirement and exit-planning guides, and refreshed capability, inventory, and architecture documentation to reflect current workflows.

The changes update documentation and contributor guidance to describe PowerShell as removed, identify retained Rust CLI routes, revise artifact and evidence descriptions, and delete historical retirement and migration records.

Merge Risk: 🔵 Low · up to e29cd

The runtime-CI instructions may lead users to expect the summary at a filename the command does not guarantee. Clarify the output binding; the remaining risk is bounded and does not prevent merging.

Review details

Systems and components

  • observed — docs (service) was modified; 49 changed files map to changed impact.
  • observed — orchestration (service) was modified; 2 changed files map to changed impact.
  • observed — AGENTS.md (service) was modified; 1 changed file maps to changed impact.
  • observed — CONTEXT.md (service) was modified; 1 changed file maps to changed impact.

Before / after behavior

  • observed — Modified behavior in AGENTS.md: The scan guidance now describes coverage of Markdown, YAML, and other text files rather than .ps1/.psm1 files and replaces the retired-script fallback with a prohibition on hand-rolled scans when the command is unavailable.
  • observed — Modified behavior in AGENTS.md: The digest-chain example no longer names legacy/run-code-intel.ps1. Documentation guidance now prohibits presenting PowerShell as a prerequisite or entry point, replacing the prior allowance for mentioning it as a compatibility fixture or migration boundary.
  • observed — Modified behavior in CONTEXT.md: The Scanner entry’s avoid-list removes “PowerShell runner”; “Rust scanner” and “artifact reader” remain.
  • observed — Modified behavior in docs/adr/0001-rust-cli-reads-artifacts.md: Adds a notice that DR-0018 supersedes part of this ADR, stating that PowerShell was removed and the steps now use the Rust code-intel CLI.

145-145: 🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick win

Document the current Rust Sentrux result contract.

The removed three-value table was specific to the legacy PowerShell path and should not be restored. However, Rust consumers still use process status to distinguish parsed Sentrux findings from failed, unparseable execution. Document that distinction and state that exit status alone is not an admission result.

Suggested documentation update
Shell wrappers may still orchestrate tools, but normalized Sentrux JSON and debt classification should converge on these CLI commands.

+Consumers must preserve process status separately from parsed stdout. For
+`sentrux check`, named `max_cc` records come from stdout; aggregate output
+without an authoritative target is informational. For `sentrux gate`,
+recognized gate records are findings, while failed output with no recognized
+records is an execution or parsing failure, not a gate finding. Process exit
+status and raw Quality are not admission authority.

- Line 32: Update the Source evidence references in the Repomix row and rows
32–36 to cite the former source file at a fixed historical revision, or cite a
retained Rust implementation for current behavior. Do not use the DR-0018
removal-decision reference as a substitute for locatable source evidence.

Review comments at @docs/INVENTORY.md:
- Line 141: Recount the living-contract entries in the inventory table and
update its breakdown and total so the “other” count matches the listed rows and
the category counts sum to the total.

Review comments at @docs/native-code-evidence.md:
- Line 20: Align the PowerShell removal claim in the native-code evidence
documentation with the implementation: if DR-0018 retired the producer, remove
PowerShell from SUPPORTED_HEURISTICS, coverage.json emission, extension
mappings, and symbol extraction; otherwise, update both documents to describe
the retained support.

Review comments at @docs/project-orientation-benchmark.md:
- Line 7: Update the executable invocation in the benchmark example to work
across platforms by using `cargo run -p code-intel -- benchmark orientation ...`
instead of directly invoking `target/debug/code-intel.exe`; alternatively,
explicitly mark the existing command as Windows-only.

Review comments at @docs/runtime-ci-evidence.md:
- Line 19: Update the runtime/CI evidence paragraph to describe `provider
runtime-ci-evidence` as a separate route, not as a provider invoked during a
normal run. State that it requires `--artifact-root`, `--request`, and `--out`,
and reads the supplied request before ingesting the local artifact.
